I'm Amanda Tu, a third-year student at Stanford University studying Product Design and Creative Writing. I am captivated by the intersections of design, healthcare, and media, and I've explored these crossroads through positions at OCA Ventures, XLerateHealth, and Inari Medical. During summer 2018, I worked as an intern with MATTER, an innovative healthcare startup incubator and co-working space. I was also the Director of Design + Learning for Kentucky’s first-ever Youth Mental Health Ideathon in partnership with StAMINA and the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative.

I currently serve as the Vice President of Marketing for BASES, Stanford's premier student entrepreneurship group, and a Designer-in-Residence prototyping interventions around community-building for Stanford's Lantana House. In 2017, I co-founded and directed Blueprint, Stanford's first-ever undergraduate healthcare case competition.

Outside of design, I am a writer of comedy and prose, having studied at iO Chicago and The Second City. Read my work in X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine.
